Who should I call for legal advise?

Information on access to USG legal counsel for advisement - The attorneys for the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) hold a legal clinic on a biweekly (every 2 weeks) basis, which SBU undergraduate students can attend to solicit free basic legal advisement. The USG is located in room 202 of the Student Activities Center (SAC). Contact 631-632-6460 for details and schedule information for the clinic.

Information on GSO resources - The Graduate Student Organization (GSO) also holds a legal clinic every other week. Graduate students can schedule an appointment by emailing sbgrad.legalclinic@gmail.com or contacting the GSO office at 632-6492 during business hours.
The GSO also maintains the Housing Committee, a standing committee that investigates housing issues and advocates for graduate students on and off campus.
